Rebonding Therapy

There is mounting evidence that problems in bonding between an infant and their primary caretaker can result in a multitude of psychological problems.

The therapist attempts to make an assessment of these issues in all counselling requests.

Problems in attachment can often be resolved.

A form of therapy known as Rebonding or Holding Therapy can correct insecure attachments in children.  It can also be effective in helping couples become more bonded.

The therapist offers this form of therapy for couples and parents with their children up to the age of 7 years.

Other ways of addressing these concerns are available for bonding problems in older children and adults.
